Performance Enhancement

 

Description of services:

1.       This will be an ala carte menu item for athletes to add to their package

2.       Athletes interested in this will have their consultant contact Director of Performance Training to set up and schedule client at chosen facility.

3.       Price will be dependent on location and vary state to state.

4.       Package rates include 12 training sessions at the determined training facility.

5.       They will have the option to have a functional movement assessment done with Director of Performance Training via Skype and email contact with Director to discuss their training. This will be an additional charge of $75.

 

Athlink is excited to announce that we will be offering Speed and Agility Training for all of our clients.  This will be offered to you by a facility located closest to you.  Athlink will make all the arrangements and ensure that you receive the very best training possible to help take your athletic abilities to the next level.  Speed, agility and quickness are the most significant components of athletic success.  Improving your speed and agility will help to increase your “rate of performance” which equals improved execution of dynamic functional movement patterns that will allow you to perform at a higher level.

Sports performance training offers many benefits to those who participate in this type of training.  The most obvious benefit to sports performance training is improving an athlete’s athletic ability.  Sports performance training is used to help increase speed, agility, quickness, strength, power, and endurance of the athlete.  All of these aspects are important factors in all sports.  This increase in speed and agility allows for athletes to increase their ability to perform dynamic sports specific movements that allows them to improve their overall athletic performance on the field of play.  Another benefit of sports performance training is; that by teaching athlete’s proper dynamic movement patterns it will help reduce the risk of possible injuries to athletes.  Research has shown that athletes who take part in sports performance training not only improve their athletic ability, but it has been show to help decrease the risk of injuries associated with athletic competition.  Reducing the risk of injury allows the athlete to stay on the field and not miss time due to injury.  Staying on the field increases the exposure of the athlete to possible coaches involved in the recruiting process.
